may in this area was horrible. 10 1/2 inches of rain . i tried to get some paint work done but could not get any dry air to my booth . even with my dryer running my hose was like a water cannon . damnedest thing i've ever seen . couple of people i know painted anyway and now regret it . in all my 45 years of painting i dont remember anything like it . it was hard enough to even breath when outside . needless to say i spent most of my time inside . now it is coming on the months of hell here , july / august are freaking brutal here . going to be some very early work from here on . by 10 it is just crazy hot in the booth . i have an extra a/c unit i am planning to put in the booth. might be able to drop the temp just a little . wont help while spraying but i do everything else in the booth . i only have one more to do anyway . between my health and a shoulder torn all to hell painting is tough . buffing is gonna kill me . as soon as i finish up i may go ahead with the surgery on the shoulder . sucks getting old .

Wow! That's a boat load of rain for one month. We'll be lucky to see that much all year.

Temps here have been brutal lately. 103 - 110 degrees last two weeks. This week should be a bit cooler and only in the high 90s.

I have fans in the shop (no A/C) so work is limited to early morning hours or late afternoon early evening.

Hoping the high temps bring the Monsoon rains we so desperately need.

use to do a lot of night time spraying just have to keep the booth closed to keep out bugs . in may it was just like a swamp . hot and humid . i live in the river valley so dew is heavy . if i had it to do over my shop would be wood framed with 8 ft ceilings with a/c . my building room has a/c in it . but my building days are over now . i'm going to try and build my falcon but that is the last one .
