Internal frame coating

My frame has been coated with epoxy primer and I need to coat the inside. Will Eastwood's internal frame coating hurt the epoxy primer?

I used that Eastwood product for inside my frame (powder coat vs. epoxy.)
I think is it good stuff and better than nothing.
What I found was that a lot of material came out of the various holes in the frame, no surprise really once I thought about it, and it ran down the powder coating. I was able to scramble and wipe it off OK before it dried.
If I were to do it again, I would mask off the holes carefully, just uncovering the ones I needed for access.
If you keep the Eastwood material inside the frame and off the epoxy, it should be a moot point.
Any, the epoxy is so tough, I doubt that that paint would "hurt" it. Would just look bad.

Why not just use SPI epoxy? When I did my 51 Ford F1, I sprayed the epoxy into every nook, cranny, and space until it ran out of any spaces or seams. for deep stuff that the spray wouldn't reach, I used whatever I could find to push the epoxy in-paint rollers, rags, paint brushes, whatever. If I could stand it on end, like the tailgate, I would plug one end, fill the tube with epoxy to the top, then drain out the epoxy, saving it and filtering it to spray somewhere else. Worked like a charm.

I've had the same idea but haven't figured out a viable delivery method. The best I can come up with is using an undercoating applicator with a long hose and a 360* sprinkler nozzle attached somehow. Does anyone know of an off-the-shelf applicator or a known-good DIY alternative?

I have about 6ft (each side) of internal rocker panel cavities with only access holes at the rear wheel well (VW Karman Ghia).

This attaches to a schutz gun and I’ve used it with epoxy and cavity wax.

Don,
You beat me to it, was going to respond with the same thing.
BTW, the '55 in your profile, similar car was my last restoration, ~20 years ago.
That was fun!

WOOHOO! Thanks, Don.
I have seen those but did not know they worked with a Shutz gun. Have "you extended the tubing in practice? If not, ill eventually find out it is doable.

Cheers,

No I haven’t extended it. I mostly use it in trunk drop offs etc.
