Is my sealer plan good?

Great forum! I decided to paint my 95 crewcab F-250. It will be a allover without jams. It will be the two tone metallic blue with white down the side. My intention is budget daily driver paint job, but I tend to get carried away in some projects. I need products that are easy for novice, long lasting and looks in that order. I have been surfing the net for budget friendly products and came across SPI, so I'll be using all SPI primers and probably the production clear.
Heres the real question. I will be doing VERY little body work, I got all new panels to replace damaged ones.
Plan is;
1. sand truck,
2. epoxy repair areas
3. do filler work
4. shoot completed body work with epoxy and sand
5. shoot whole thing with reduced epoxy,
6. shoot color and clear(whole other posts coming!)
How much epoxy am I going to need and am I messing up by not shooting a high build?

You make a good point about highbuild. None of my body work is ever good enough to get it perfect with just one coat of epoxy. BUT, in my opinion, it doesn't sound like it would be worth it for you to buy another product, if you are doing very little body work, like you said.

If it was me, I would spray two coats of epoxy on the repairs, and block them. Depending how evenly it blocks, you might have to repeat this step.

SPI epoxy blocks really nice after a day of summer heat. Try doing this in cooler temps, and you'll be waiting a lot longer until it sands.

I hope this helps....I'm not a pro, this is jmho.
