I'v got the T Top blues

The main weather strip for the t top transitions to the door jamb area and is held in place by a U shaped metal channel with screws.....I am trying to find the foam tape used by the factory to seal this channel to the car, it appears to be about 1" wide and maybe 1/16" thick and only sticky on one side.
Any idea what this is referred to and where to get it?
When I did a google search I am only coming up with a double sided weatherstrip attachment tape made by 3m that is very expensive.
 
Go to Menards or any hardware store and buy a roll of universal closed cell foam weatherstrip the size that's needed-or do like I do and use some strip caulk.
 
Try Year One or National Parts Depot (NPD) , they should have the correct weatherstrip for a T/A, they have online catalogs.
