While prepping a car for paint over the weekend I had a mental breakdown staring at my useless work bench....When I originally did the garage I just stole this POS from my old garage, I set it up too high and it was borderline unusable for anything related the stuff we all do. The toolboxes were completely useless for any type of storage.

So I ripped that POS out and built something a little more usable. We'll see how long this takes to fill up with shit......

Ill get the matching upper cabinets one day when the wife isnt paying any attention....

Ha, ha.
I put counters and cabinets in, extra storage shelves above and shelving units throughout my garage. They all look like your first picture now.
It seems every flat surface I have is filled with something. Now with my GTX taken apart I have overflowed into the storage shed as well.
I would post pictures but too embarrassed.

i went from 10k ft to 1200 ft then back to 3600 ft. still the same outcome . my biggest problem is my shop holds farm/house/shop stuff. i need a barn .

I’m also too ashamed. I’m in a last minute thrash to get a car cut and buffed for delivery on Saturday. Next one shows up Saturday but I’m going to take a couple of days to clean my shop.

Ill try to remember to report back here in 2 weeks and I'll show where im at then!! HAHA!

I wanted a nice table in my "shop". I also thought having a steel table would be nice. Something I could do some metalshaping on and not have it flex or move around. Ended up with this:

1/2" steel plate top, 2 1/2" square tubing .250 thick. Darn thing cost me over a thousand dollars in steel. built it upside down, turning it over to get it upright was an adventure doing it by myself. Only way I could move it into position was with a cherry picker. It collects a lot of crap on it. :) Bulky thing in the foreground is my Tommasini cast iron English Wheel.

Robert I've got a big bag from Peter. Bigger than what he sells now. Size of a small couch.:) Filled it with river sand. Needed to move it off the top of the table, had to call a buddy to help me move the darn thing. Gotta weigh every bit of 150 pounds.

I'm so happy I made this thread, lol I actually feel normal!

Last night my new bench was collecting stuff at a rapid pace... I looked over and said "Awe... hell no" and cleaned it right away!

Ok, I feel I must explain as this is so bad.
First, here is a picture from the house camera this morning; this is my play house, and no one goes in it but me and grandson if he wants to play in a car or get one of his electric vehicles out.
