Little help please..I am painting a truck bed (after stripping it/SPI epoxy/2k epoxy) to match the rest of the truck. Place I used to buy paint feom closed. So went to a new place and they gave me Limco Supreme single stage Acrylic Enamel!
I know everyone hates it but it’s a truck bed! So anyways I got no data sheet on it and asked the guy about it and no help, tried their website and more confused! I am pretty sure it is 8:1:1 with reducer and hardener…does it matter what kind (brand) can I use SPI’s or do I need to stick with BASF (Limco) brand

Thanks Barry! That’s what I was afraid of! Lol
Guy behind the counter was not very helpful and Limco’s website SHOWS multiple mixing formulas!
thanks

limco is one of those systems where depending on how the jobber mixes it, it can be a basecoat, acrylic enamel topcoat, polyurethane single stage, or an alkyd enamel i believe. this would be why there are different mix ratios. its been some years since i have used limco. i do remember it was real $hit. i would use limco 3 which was the polyurethane single stage. it was super cheap an ok on bs things like my trailer and just stuff around the shop. never used the supreme plus though.
