Merkur for my granddaughter

Someone gave me this car about 4 years ago. After looking it over and seeing how solid the body was we decided to fix it. It sat for about 3 years and Brian decided to see if it would run. It started right up after he installed a battery and changed the solenoid. We could not believe how good it ran. It is a 4 cylinder turbo with an automatic and we figured it would be a perfect first car for my granddaughter Autumn.

In Brian's spare time he started cleaning it and tried to straighten the fender. A friend of mine who owns the Camaro we are working on had a couple of Merkurs so he gave me a parts car. Brian cut the front end off.

Man, y'all get more work done than I could ever dream of. Maybe that's my problem I spend too much time looking at your work and dreaming about mine being done. LOL

Looks like a lot of fun, let me know if you need any parts as I have a few lying around. I'm sure it will be a beauty when you are done. Way to go spoiling your grandkids.
