Mixing Touch up Paint

I need to touch up a few spots on my recent Flame Red paint job. Is there a formula for mixing base, clear and reducer to use for touch ups?

i usually mix base and clear aprox 50/50. no reducer in either one before mixing. you want it thick as possible.

i use these. i have a big case of them. they are great, use them all the time and you just toss them when done. that one posted above looks interesting. never seen one like that. only downfall really is that you have to clean it.

I use the EZ dabbers too but that paint pen allows much better control. It’s a deceiving little pen that works well on small chips.

I clean it with reducer in a squirt bottle I use for my spray guns.

If you like the brushes, get these. I use them every day.

Thanks for the mix ratio. I have experimented in the past but was trying to reduce the base 1:1 and then add the clear.

I bought the pen because it looks interesting and I bought the Dabblers because I don't have steady enough hands to perform surgically precise movements. LOL

Don do you have a link to the squirt bottles you use. I am having trouble finding some suitable for solvents to replace the old ones I had.
Here you go Chris. You can probably find it for less.

I can’t answer your question but I got one of these for chip repair after seeing a guy using one on Instagram. It works very well.

Saw him using the paint pen again
