My air supply sounds like a car horn honking

I dont know why this is happening. Nothing has changed. Regulator or not, regardless of psi on either end, the air supply sounds like a car horn honking? Makes sense to assume it's restricted somewhere, but nothing has changed? Material sprays out fine?

I concur with Don. Look at your spraygun regulator "gauge". If the gauge needle is bouncing, your gauge is going or has gone bad. Had this happen about two/three weeks ago.

The regulators should have a bleed off port. If you run your hand around each regulator or gauge you can narrow down which one is causing it.
A bad popet valve on the tank could also be leaking. I've seen rubber air lines break down on the inside of the hose and cause a whistling noise.
Just my .02
