I painted a 1986 Monte Carlo with Cromax dark red effect metallic and had to fix a few missed spots on both doors after finishing clearing process, I sanded the 3 dents with 80 grit and used SPI epoxy only to block out the dents. I then tried to use what paint I had left to cover the spots and had to over reduce to have enough material, Well you know how that went for me, I put it out in the sun 2 days ago after sanding with 1200 all over and behold the light blends on both doors. I have the doors ready to repaint and will pick up paint tomorrow, Should I paint the whole door or try to blend out from the not so covered area to the edge of the doors?Do I need to sand ,most of the clear off or paint over it sanded with 800? I appreciate all the help as you are all the help I have to correct my inexperience.
