Need for SS and BC/CC on one vehicle

Hello folks! I just got my first SPI delivery for my very long restoration job on my 72 truck. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/f...the-72-gmc-finally-thanks-john/59103/page130/
I have white epoxy paint, and will do SPI 2K primer over filler following that. I intend to BC/CC with SPI clear on the body.

The truck will be painted, partially, in panels. The inside of the fenders are painted seperately from the truck, as are the doors and hood. The interior of the truck is also painted body color.

I want to paint the interior of the cab, the inner part of the fender, the inner part of the door, and the underside of the hood in SS. I will paint everything else in BC/CC. The color is white top with either Porsche Gulf Blue or GM Mosport Green on the bottom, with a small horizontal white stripe where GM put the trim on the beltline of the truck.

What brand can I order, with as little bang for buck as possible, which will work with both types of paint on the same vehicle?

Thanks

@Tuna55 did you upgrade your air compressor? I see that the one you had has trouble running a DA sander. If so, you'll have trouble painting with it as well.

Something may have been wrong with that DA. I painted another car with that compressor and it went fine, but it was a quick and dirty paint job with quick and dirty materials.

Agree with Crash.

A properly sized air compressor is a necessity IMHO. The spray gun requires a certain volume of air at a certain pressure to properly atomize the paint. Know your gun's requirements and try to have an air compressor that exceeds that by at least 10%.

Without proper air supplied to the gun, it's going to be hit or miss (mostly miss) at getting a decent paint job on your project.

Please read my response above, and I am really hoping to stay on topic with the plan of panel vs body painting and the type of system which can do both.

I did write to Chad as prescribed a couple days ago and am waiting for his recommendation.

That's fine, hope it turns out well for you.
