Got my new filter system yesterday....sadly it was in the form of Tommy John surgery on my kid... Time to add more epoxy to the old unit!

Hello
Just recently picked up one of these Arrow
My air distribution and filtering system needed to be upgraded.
There was an earlier thread from Chris Hamilton about the Arrow desiccant canister and that was very helpful.

I ended up re-doing my whole system.

3/4 inch PEX straight from the compressor to the paint booth and then put in the Arrow 5-stage system, which included the desiccant canister.

1/2 inch Flexilla hose, with Flexilla 3/8 inch NTP, high flow connectors.

That ought to get clean, dry air at max CFM to the gun!

Yeah, a 36 inch drip leg is excessive, but I wanted to get it close to the ground so I could bleed off most of the pressure and then catch the water in a bucket rather than making a mess . . .

I tee'd a leg off of the 3/4 inch PEX to a separate area of the shop, for pneumatic tools. That leg has it's own simpler filter/water trap/regulator.

We'll see how it works!
Hello so I just recently bought the same Arrow Stageair Desiccant Dryer. And had some questions about how you mounted it. Mines came with mounts but no screws were included with them to mount on the filer. On the top of the filter where it looks like the mounts go. The holes have no threads in them for a screw to screw in. Did u have to use your own screws and thread them in the hole? Don’t wanna mess up the filter in any way. Any help with mounting it would be much appreciated thanks!

Mine came with l brackets and screws, self tapping, which I thought was a bit odd.

I seem to recall that mine wasn't threaded either, which was strange. I just used a tap to thread the holes and then mounted with some machine screws.
