I am going to be touching up this door, small spot on top of r/s front fender and top of l/s front fender. I am also painting the new hood. My plan is to spray the hood and then blend it into the tops of the fenders that also takes care of the small touch up spots on top of the fenders. The door is where my question is. How do I get this door to match the quarter. I figured I would stop the color about 4 inches from the edge of the door and fade it into the edge. I will also blend the front of the door into the fender. then clear everything. I really don't want to paint the quarter. The hood had been wetsanded with 400 and the door and the fenders have been done with 800. The paint on the car is all SPI products, red and universal clear. It was painted 10 years ago but has not been out of the garage since buffing it out. I had to stop the project for awhile.
