okay, heres the thing...
Can I/or should I shoot top (satin finish) coat right over epoxy primer? This is on a core support,inner fenders and under side of a hood. would this be acceptable or what do you think?

Of course it will work but consider this:

Two coats of epoxy, when cured over a few months is stronger and more chemical resistant then any SS or base clear you can use, so you are going backwards as well as wasting money. (UNLESS that is the only way you can get the exact gloss you need for a true restro job)

The epoxy is made, so you can adjust too less gloss, to match different sheens on frames and engine compartments.

I will put the parts away for a couple/few months then top them, but do I need to seal them before hibernating?
