Yesterday after a couple of years of asking all kinds of silly monotonous questions I finally laid down my first 2 coats of base.
Its No Mix Low VOC base by Transtar, code PB5. Used my new Iwata gun which rocks compared to all the cheap guns I have used before.
I put on 2 coats and was amazed at how well it covered. If not for some striping on m
the roof and hood I could go to clear. I still have a couple of cans so I am going to scuff this morning and shoot a few more. I'll start on my Universal clear tomorrow
Only one question, would a grey pad be suitable for scuffing or would sanding marks show through
Here it is:
