Paint over epoxy

If I use SPI epoxy to prime and seal any thing metal, can rattle can paint be put over it? Not talking about car parts, but things around the house.

Yes, You just need to follow the tech sheet as to the time window for the epoxy for best results. But since standing up to road abuse (sand, bug splats, door dings, ect.) won't be an issue, you can pretty much spray anything over it as long as your temperatures were high enough to cure the epoxy.
