And who has the best Pearls?

I do remember oh 25 years ago someone up north made a pearl in liquid form that was Fantastic but was informed they stopped making the product many years ago.

Here is the story lol. A friend of mine painted his 71 BB Corvette in Corvette White with Gold pearl on top and at night when you drove under the street lights it would shimmer like a shark in the water. Sorry just something I will never forget. :)

each paint company or supplier doesnt make pearls. pearls and pigments are made by a small handfull of companies then the paint manufacturers buy from them. for instance "your guy" up north was just buying the pearl and mixing it in his liquid and selling it same way ppg, hok and all the other guys do. because he no longer has it doesn't mean its not made anymore, just not under his brand name. pearls are nice, but there is nothing special about them. nearly every metallic paint you see on a car nowdays has a pearl of some sort in it.

Back in the day Murano Pearl was the "shit".
If i remember correctly it was white lead based.
I thought I still had half a jar of blue, but during my recent shop cleaning it didnt turn up :(

Murano Rings a Bell. :) For some reason I kept thinking Morono lol. All I know is the pearl would really show up.
