PPG Deltron???

I have no experience with PPG Delton. I have a customer that wants his front valance touched up and he has a qt of PPG. Can I use SPI reducer or do I need something from PPG??

the last car i painted, the customer had already purchased dbc and i used spi reducer. Kept the ppg reducer on the shelf for cleanups. Worked excellent! Only thing with deltron is coverage, and could have just been the color i had. lime green metallic. took 3-4 extra coats to get the right coverage.

dbu takes their reactive reducer. dbc works great with spi

Rusty, is it singlestage DAU or Basecoat DBU? DBU requires a reactive reducer.

The can is maroon and white and I believe it is basecoat. It is red and I was going to use a brush and touch up a small chip on the bottom edge of the valance. Do I need the reactive reducer?

That's DBU and it uses DRR reactive reducer, I wouldn't worry about it for chip repairs.
