Proper way to divide stored paint for consistent SS color

I am looking forward to using some Motobase Motocryl SS paint purchased from Chad. I will probably paint some body pieces at separate times - starting with the door interiors.....this will be a long process for me. I cannot find the post/wisdom on how to divide the SS paint for storage. Can someone show me the post that talks about paint storage and separating the paint into individual quart or gallon cans? I will probably have 2 total gallons of SS to work with over the next 2-ish years. thank you....

Another method: Mix each can with a stick to the bottom, put all the paint in a clean new 5 gallon pail and mix it really well. Then fill the quart cans. Of course mix each quart real good to make sure nothing settled before you use each time. Solid color?

The Standox base that I use simply doesn't settle out to the point where this technique is necessary. I've had cans sit for years, and while they do need a good stirring, nothing is stuck to the bottom, ever.

SPI 2201 Matte Black is the same way, which is amazing for a flattened product. Can sit for a year and nothing stuck to the bottom. There's some kind of magic in that stuff!

That said, many of the paints out there have severe settling issues. The S-W base I used for the first 5 years of my shop's existence would settle terribly. I'd have to stir, shake, stir, shake... hated it.
