Wow that really looks nice. I bet it is great sound deadener too. I'd throw an old school rubber mat in there and let folks wonder how you did that.
Cool.
Thanks!

Gosh, I forgot about this thread.

Here's how it turned out:

And here's how the whole car turned out:

SPI Universal Clear over Pro-Spray base. India Ivory and Regal Turqoise. As shot, no sanding or buffing.

Is that the "I'd like to have a shop that looks like this" garage on Garage Journal? If so, I love that garage. I have it saved as a reference for designing my shop. Car looks great too!

Ha! Good catch. Yes it is.

Here's a shot that I had taken by a photographer. I have entered it into the 2014 Calendar Contest on trifive.com.

And btw, I'm now well in to a cab off restomod on the '57 truck right now. It's going to be my wife's errand truck.

I'm really glad this thread made it to the top again, and thanks for the follow up Roger! I've been wondering how to do the underside and trunk of my old Bavaria, and as soon as I saw the pics of your trunk it kind of gave me a vision in my mind. The car (and trunk) look great!

Roger, it is funny but I may talk to a person a lot of times and not put a face to them, thanks for the picture, Now I know the guy I'm talking to!

I could never say enough nice things about that garage, what a class act!
