Recoat spi base

Need a little clarification and help on recoating SPI base color. I sprayed the base 2 Days ago, ended up getting some junk in the paint. Didn't have a chance to wet sand the junk out till today. Can I just respray that area or do I need hit the whole fender with a red scuff pad and re spray the whole thing?
2nd question, I sprayed other panels almost 2 weeks ago, never cleared them and they have been sitting in the garage covered. Have I waited to long to clear. Using SPI universal clear over SPI base? Thanks.

Not sure about SPI base, but most all others your outside the recoat window...I would never chance it and scuff and recoat everything.

JimC has said this many times on here and my experience has been the same you can re-coat pretty much anytime regardless of what the basecoat manufacturer says. SPI base you are fine re-coating. Zero need to scuff it (and never with a red scotchbrite pad btw) Being a solid color you'll be fine just blending your repair area. As for clearing the other panels you are ok on that as well. Main thing is not to wipe them down with a waterbased W&G remover. If you have to wipe them down for whatever reason use a fairly quick (fast evaporating) solvent based W&G remover. SPI 710 is a good choice.

Thanks you guys for responding.
I had searched the forum for the answer to my question,Had found a couple different answers. Just want to be sure as I am attempting to do this for the first time.
Thanks Chris, I'll order the 710 wax and grease remover.
