Sealer/primer “tinting” ?

So at the moment all I have on hand is white sealer. I use the sealer for 2k primer and sealer just not reduced as 2k. Anyhow, I’m touching up a small area on a dark blue Hyundai. It’s just a section maybe a foot long on the plastic rocker molding. I’d prefer to have my primer darker than white for coverage as I’m blending the base and its a bit of a translucent color. Is it 100% frowned upon to add a little bit of the base coat to the primer to get it darker? Or I have black base I could add? I’m sure it wouldn’t take much. Only other thing I have is black epoxy which I’m sure is a big no no. I know, I could seal it with black epoxy I’m just trying to keep the repair as simple as possible. It’s not a customer car it’s a dealer car and a small spot but needs to be done asap. If I can’t make my primer and darker I’ll have to deal with epoxy I suppose. Open to suggestions, thanks!

Why not just reduce the black epoxy and shoot it as sealer? Am I missing why that is less simple than other approaches?

Cause It’s cracked and gouged pretty good so I’m repairing it and doing body work and then will be putting a few coats of 2k on and blocking. I’d like to proceed to base after that instead of adding the extra step of sealing with epoxy just to make it darker for better coverage. But if that’s my only option I will.

Got it.
Could just do your blocking on the black epoxy. Lots of folks do.
Then right to base from there.
