Just wanted to know everyone's reduction/induction and time before base.

I've found that if I reduce 1:1:1 let it sit overnight its much thicker and covers better compared to just shooting after 30 minutes.

24 hours is just to thick. I think the sweet spot is just overnight.

and also show the tremendous adhesion benefit's of a sealer, even a spray out card shows.... left no epoxy sealer, right black sealer 1:1:1

I would be worried about letting it set overnight when it is reduced. Reduction speeds up the curing process. However, if you let it induce overnight before reducing, then added the reducer it would be a little safer, in my opinion.

I induce then right before I spray I reduce. My logic tells me if you reduce when you mix that reducer is working the whole time its sitting

I never thought it to be a problem. Who knows, it just maybe. Hopefully more will chime in.

If you look at the tech sheet it will tell you how much difference it makes in cure time, quite a bit. As far as induction goes, I can't tell you how it affects it. Maybe Barry will chime in and help us out.

Under reducing epoxy for use as a sealer

"Remember, reducing epoxy speeds up the cure time, so when mixed as a sealer the best
application of base is within 2-18 hours (no sanding is needed within this time frame). "

Under Spraying regular epoxy

"This epoxy does not need to be sanded if it’s primed over within 7 days. Always prime
over the epoxy within 7 days. After 7 days the epoxy should be sanded with 180 and re-coated with epoxy for best adhesion"
