Slick sand screw up

Just sprayed slick sand for the first time and got tunnel vision while adding the activator. Four tubes for a gallon. Got one of the tubes out and was noticing it had marks on the side of the tube in 1/4 increments. Long story short I added activator like one tube was for a gallon. Only have 1/4 the amount of activator. How do I strip this mess off? Rags and acetone?

Reducer would probably work. Going to take some effort. Is it over body filler? That’s likely going to be compromised too if it is.

Maybe MEK, dries slower than acetone giving you more time to remove it.

You mixed an entire gallon of it at once? No wonder it didn't set up quicker.

Only mixed a pint at a time. Sprayed two pints. A four inch scraper got 90% of it off and then rags with acetone got the rest. I will have to remember to try MEK if I do something stupid again. Acetone does evaporate quick. SPI epoxy looks just like it did before I sprayed the slicksand.
