Slightly different use of spi epoxy

Using to block light with Lumilor. Previously blocked with base coat but this is working much better.

Interesting. Can you expand further on what you are doing? Also did you do the striping by hand? If so that looks very nice. Either way all of the striping looks very nice. :)

Thanks! All artwork and custom paint I post is by Mathias of Mathias Airbrushing. I do his bodywork, base/clear and polish. He does pinstripe by hand but these are done by a plotter because of the way Lumilor has to be applied. Its a paint that illuminates when current is applied. It has to be applied first, then mask the design that you want lit, then block the light with base or primer so only the design will be lit.
 
Wow that's the first time I've heard of this, VERY cool. I want to see the car that's painted completely with this product. I'm betting it's already been done.

Lumilor has been around for several years. Its very expensive, of course. Thats why it's not more popular I think. I will post more when we have more progress. Next comes Lumilor on the sides and then low rider-esque graphics all over. Then will be topped off with UV clear.
