Speciality Fillers

thats a superlight sl-c. cool car. has been around for quite awhile and super popular. i have seen one in person. only problem with these cars is that every one is built to a different quality since the owner basically finishes the car. if you were to buy one you never know what your gonna get.

Yep, this one though was built by RCR(the company that sells sells the kits). They definitely did a nice job on the overall construction. The owner didn't skimp out on anything.

The other option for aluminum bodies is using lead. Once the aluminum gets warm enough for the pores to open, the lead will stick like glue.. Works well for those inaccessible areas like A-posts for removing dents/dings..

Just when I thought I saw everything! That is a new one (for me) and it sure appears to stick great. And no acid involved.

Had a chance to use the p17 over the weekend. Seems like a nice product. Goes on smooth and doesn't sand all that terrible. I think I was expecting worse honestly.

So far I had to section the front wheel openings up about 1/2".

Also the body is fiberglass not carbon like I was previously told.

yeah its not terrible to sand but not great either. i would hate to do a really large are with it. it fills though and has strength being a solid plastic, even when you have a thick area. i have seen that stuff used as a fairing compoud in the chine of a race hull @ over 1" thick. that area of a boat really takes a beating at 150 mph on the water. imo its the only thing that should be used on fiberglass

have been using the p17 for door to panel gaps stuff like havent seen it shrink or anything its pretty crazy stuff . Can it actually be used to bond glass parts back together ? havent tried that.

No idea about bonding parts with it. This is all glassed front and back and I just used it like a normal filler.
