well my first experience with speed clear started out bad...i was worried about heat..when i should have been worried about the idiot holding the gun LOL..bumper temp was 74 degrees...the first coat i put on like i did universal real wet and flat looked great then right back with the second coat the same way...thats when things went south it started to sag and run in about 5 spots..i guess my mistake was i sprayed like i was gonna let it flash and just went too heavy and then i relized to late i had the gun set at 30 psi...in which i remembered my devilbiss plus likes 40 psi to spray hs clear.well that was friday...after i wet sanded out the flow indicators.repainted the spots where i broke thru . today i got the shop nice and toasty mixed up 10oz with a half part of medium reducer just because i thought i had the shop too hot for the fast activator....anyway i set the gun to 40 psi and i moved a little faster than normal..it turned out awesome this go around with one slight flow indicator and a litttle trash from 3 wasp making out in the ceiling...easy fix... and i loved i was able pick it up and move it within 20 minutes after spraying....now on to the hood...need to get a can of wasp killer first
....ready for more suggestions from you guys where i may have gone wrong ..... thanks for all your help so far!!!
