Good day everyone...i have a gallon can of spi regular build 2k primer with about a quart left in it that has thickened up like slicksand...because the lid wasnt sealed up tight...im thinking i can add a extra half part or so of reducer to spray....am i thinking wrong?? let me know if im screwing up...thanks to all for advice.

I would suggest not doing that. One quart of that is not a terrible loss compared to the possibility of a problem. Order some new stuff and call it a day!

Also, after many years of experiencing imperfectly sealed cans due to material buildup, I have developed a habit of wiping out the channel around the can before resealing the lid. Some guys put holes in the channel, but I am against that because of long term sealing concerns.
