can you guys give me insight as its best usage
i am doing a red full size truck. i bought a gal or spi white sealer. my intent was to use it as final blocking primer on some ares and sealer on others.. so i could get faster coverage of red. seems if i try to use it as a "primer" mixed 4:1 i cant get it to spray. but if i thin it 4:1:1 it sprays like the old velva seal.

my procedure was butt weld new patches in. black epoxy, filler work, epoxy, 2 coats spi 2k primer blocked 180 then 320, then white sealer to final block.

can you guys give a brief overview for the new board.
 
I use the sealer here for both primering and sealing. I get it to spray really well a 4:1 but that is through my 1.9 sata. There is nothing wrong with reducing it 1 part to spray as a primer if you need to. I reduce 2 parts as a wet on wet sealer.
 
lax, make sure you put on enough color to get full coverage regardless of the undercoat color.
 
have not sanded any yet sprayed it today. mixed 4.1.1. looks good smooth wont take much sanding just going to wet 400. need to decide what is next. box is off and at that stage along with hood and tailgate. one cab corner fit left door and fender off for rocker. taking longer than i wanted.
