SPI Viper Red

Anybody have any left? I need to fix a few things on a car we did years ago and would love to keep it all spi!

I'd like to buy a gallon but a quart will do!

If not what's the next best thing?
Just mix some viper red and tint?

Speaking of color does anyone have picture of a vehicle done with SPI Red? I have a gallon of it and of the silver metallic but can't remember what either one looks like. I know, I know old age catching up with me.

the silver was a copy of hok -----@--------- silver bc02. very coarse and sparkly. the spi red, i have no pictures but alot of guys here have said that it is just a super bright red with no orange cast but the couple gallons i had you could almost mistake it for orange in the sun. it is very bright but extremely orangy....atleast my batch.

The one i'm looking for is the viper red, not the spi red.

Anybody have any they want to sell?

Thanks I think that red is little too bright for what I had in mind. I hang onto it for the next project.
Sorry Chad, no Viper Red here wish I could help you out.

Here is the low down on the reds:

Bright red aka flame red, red with a little of orange cast.
Viper red, same just a hair more orange cast.
SPI Red. Pure red, one tint only, can give a slight orange cast.
Any of the above, all you need is a shot of black tint and you can get to Guards red, considered a red- red, would not take much maybe a teaspoon per gallon.

I have used all the reds, amd spi red is the best...the bomb...the s@@t, the squirell...the ultimate...the cat's meow...use it lots and prosper

That looks like a bad case of shrinkage on the truck shots!

That is exactly why, you don't go through a car wash and then the dryer system, should not shrink as much the second time through.

That's what happens after you wet sand it and than sit it out in the Florida sun to long to let the solvents out.

Thanks shine. Trying to pick a nice red
Viper red
Flame red
Porche red
Torch red
Spi red
Absolute red

I want something not to prange but jot dark eather..i have some spi r3d samples already

Example of SPI dark red. I did not consider it to really be dark. A very true red with little to no orange.

Barry will be glad to send chips.
