SPI Viper Red

So far i got some
SPI red,med and dark.
Also got a sample to spray the house of color blue blood red looks a lot like the SPI RED,,but with no sun you can tell the blue blood red is just a shade more red but in the sun they both look the same. Nice colors.

Example of SPI dark red. I did not consider it to really be dark. A very true red with little to no orange.

Barry will be glad to send chips.

LOL, only the bottom of the floors are painted at this time. I'm sure you know colors viewed on camera, video, or computors can not be depended on to be accurate. The reason I posted that picture is I felt it was the closest to the actual color of the ones I had taken...........On my computor anyway!

I had a friend do a sprayout and send it to me of the dark red. it really had a nice rich color after color sanding and buffing.

I still think this is the most accurate duplication of the true color.

Here are a couple others just for the sake of conversation.

Yea true but the first pictures does look like the sample i got..

I agree. The chip I received was very good. This is a driver so I will not color sand and buff the floors. You will find that a color will develop a much richer look after it is cut and buffed. There is something about paint straight out of the gun that has a "just painted wet look" that I am not crazy about. I know there are others who dissagree with me.

It is hard to choose a color from a chip. I took the three chips to numerous car shows and held them up to everything from Camaros to Vipers to get a good feel for how the car would look. I would recommend that to anyone who os trying to pick a color.

I have been so impressed with the SPI product line I wanted to use SPI through the whole build. I was really pleased I found an SPI color that worked well for this project.
