Spray bomb primer/paint?

I know I know, never rattle can! Lol hey there’s a time and a place for everything? My 17’ daily driver I’m replacing the front cover on finally. While it’s off there’s some chipping, etc on the rebar and lower support. I’m in the northeast the weather isn’t kind to our vehicles. Now it’s not bad by any means but I’d like to spray something on it while it’s accessible. Like I said everyday driver, nothing special. It’s white so I’d prefer to stick with white but I suppose if I had to I could get away with black on the lower support. What products in a spray can could I throw a couple coats on that would offer the most protection? Not really looking to get into stripping, epoxy, 2k, bc/cc etc it’s not that big of a deal. I’m open to suggestions? Anything from etch primer to rust oleum lol. Unfortunately I don’t have any white epoxy or I would prob just do that and leave it. Have white 2k and black epoxy. That’s how it goes right? Thanks guys.

It’s a Mitsubishi Lancer, not an evo lol. Just a ES. But I got the cover under control. Just talking about touching up the lower core support and rebar while the cover is off which are steel. They’re chipped, scratched etc. Just wanna blow something on there for some protection that’s quick and easy. Will never be seen once cover is back on but will make me feel better. How do you guys feel about SEM EZ Coat? I’ve used some of their tan and olive green on supports and aprons etc on collision jobs in the past. Not the cheapest spray can though but worked very well for what I needed at te time and matched the factor e coat nicely.

I’ve used Duplicolor premium Bedliner before and it holds up pretty well. It’s about 30 bucks a can though. Maybe it was Plasticote, not sure. Of course even just brushing on
epoxy would be better though.
