wonder, how you people clean the spray booth. i have a downdraft spray booth, and want to do a quick every morning clean up in it. recently i have to much durt in my paint jobs, and noticed too much dust on the floor and the walls. what do you suggest? mopping the floor with wet mop? vacuuming?

for some years now i know alot of shops with down draft put in indoor/outdoor carpeting then just run a regular vacuum clear around every morning. the carpet lasts about a year and traps all the dust and dirt alot like the 3m dirt trap material. i dont have carpeting on the floor since im in a crossflow and have nothing coming up from the floor. my walls have dirt trap on them though which i change out about every 6 mos. daily cleanings are just a sweep and blow out. maybe once every 2 mos ill powerwash it out, dirttrap and all.

i use to wash out the booth but now the water would go into the blasting booth i added on . i have a piece of 3/4 pvc with an air chuck in each end . i just spent some time with the fan on and blow all the dust out . i wet the floors a little but not enough to change the humidity .

is there any wet floor industrial vacuum that i can buy for that? again, its for daily routine, and i have around 15 minutes daily for that

Get a synthetic filter for a common wet/dry vac. (Craftsman or Shop-Vac) Marketed as HEPA filters. Install one of those on the vac and duct tape where the top and tank meet. If you do that almost no dust escapes back into the air. Works really nicely. Those filters last forever as well.

Years ago I'd wet down the booth and before each job. Later found that simply giving the booth a very good sweeping works better. This is with a crossflow booth.
