Spraying question?

I am working on a crew cab 2500 gmc that is dark ming blue color, I was wandering if it would be okay to spray the cab one day and the bed the next day? This is a lot to cover in one day but if it will be a problem with color matching I will do my best to spray it all together.

I do that all the time, just have one batch of color mixed up for all so it's the same mix. On large trucks because of small work space, I often do the hood and roof one day, then the RH side the next and the LH side the next day. I unmask right away each time to avoid tape imprint on fresh paint.

Okay I have a gallon of paint so I will mix the gallon with reducer and have it all mixed, Would there be a problem if I ran out had to buy more paint ? I am not the best at estimating how much materials to have but I would rather have more than I need than not enough. I am using Nason basecoat and it will make 1.5 gallons, I really appreciate your help in this project.

Color match will be fine. Dont reduce it all at once. Just reduce what you are going to spray at that given time. Nason is hit or miss as far as coverage from my experience(red is absolutely terrible) so hopefully you plan on using a sealer to get uniform coverage.

When you get done with the first set of parts, keep track of how much paint you shot and if you feel you need more paint, just get another quart, use that paint first and use your original batch of paint for your last coats and the color will be fine.
