Spraying UV clear today

Hi all,

Per the perfect paint job, 30 minutes between clear coats. Solvent pop frightens me a lot. Will waiting a while longer between coats help anything. Not talking days or anything, maybe an hour or two?

Per the perfect paint job, 30 minutes between clear coats. Solvent pop frightens me a lot. Will waiting a while longer between coats help anything. Not talking days or anything, maybe an hour or two?

I shot Universal Clear yesterday at 86 degrees, Lebanon, Ohio. Slow activator, no reducer, 4 coats, 30 minutes between coats. The only problem was a run or two due to operator error, which is no big deal..

Curious as to why?

Potential sensitivity could happen around the 60 to 75 min mark.
Impossible to pinpoint precisely due to so many factors.

i have shot reg voc universal in every way imaginable, in all conditions and i have never been able to pop it. the low voc stuff maybe a little. i would not worry about solvent pop with that clear.
