is there a general step by step post on process for painting here anywhere?
Not as detailed as... Buy sand paper, sand part, clean part, prime , sand paint... just a little post to go back to and see if I missed something.
(as you probably figured out this is just a hobby for me) so go easy on me!:rolleyes:

You knew I would have questions so...
If I dont go as fast as in the "perfect Paint job" will it be a problem?
Can I go days or weeks between coats?
I only have the front clip ready right now.
I dont have any warm days coming up as it started to snow here last night and it probably wont stop until April. (garage is heated)

Can I epoxy what I can, do the body filler, 2K and wait until spring to base and clear? I would think this would be ok, but I thought I should check.
 
I would epoxy, filler work, 2k and then seal with reduced epoxy for storage. 2K can absorb water and other thing. One thing to remember is epoxy should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
