Temperature

How long does the Temperature need to be above 70 when spraying Epoxy Primer? If sprayed at 75-80 and it stays at those temperatures for 8-9 hours and then drops into the upper 50s or 60s will I be ok? Or, am I going to need the higher temps for say 24 hours?

I have a little Walmart space heater that keeps 20x15 spray room toasty when it gets too cold. Could be 40 outside and it will be 75 in the room. The heater cost about 100

Yes, I use a space heater as well.
I also have an infrared thermometer that helps verify the temps of the epoxy in the can and the metal.

So heat the garage until the metal temperature is at least 70 degrees (check both sides and ends of the vehicle), I then turn the heater off, shoot the epoxy and then after clean up, I turn the heater back on and leave it run overnight.

2X the IR thermometer.

Thank yo all for the replies. I guess I knew the answer. Was hoping to spray my Jeep Frame outside but NY just doesn’t have the weather to be able to do that. I have the IR Thermometer but I’ll have to get it in a garage with a heater. Thanks again!
