time window to get base down after sealer

i learned the tape test from jim c. it put my mind at rest when i sprayed spi base on 5 day old sanded epoxy. pressed heavy duty duct tape on the base and tried to peel it off the epoxy...didnt come off... whew. spi base has awesome adhesion, but now i do the epoxy sealer coat and hit it the same day with spi or ppg deltron base... fail safe!

NewB question... after you denib or wet sand the sealer coat, what are you cleaning the surface with prior to the base coat (or are you)? Is this a WGR, tac rag...?

best case scenario sealer goes on with no sanding, denibing or cleaning after, may have to do light touch ups and you spray base soon after...so prep work before sealer should have the surface clean, sanded and denibed. i use gloves on everything so nothing gets touched so surface is always clean as possible...just blow and or tack. its like the final step after prepping before base... am i making sense?
