Universal and Universal 2.1 Over The Other?

Can I shoot UV 2.1 over UV 1.1? The UC 1.1 I shot last December and has been wet sanded to 800 for over three month.

No problem shooting one over the other, but I would suggest cleaning the sanded clear with 700, and resanding or at least using a grey scuff pad, before clearing again.

Is there a time limit between scuffing and re clearing?

I, personally, don't like to wait more than 24 hrs., but that is probably overkill. The longer it sits, the better the chance of it getting contaminated, and getting contamination off of a sanded surface can be difficult.
