Using 600grit when Cutting Universal or Euro

With the previous clear I used, I'd normally apply 4-5 coats and start cutting with 600grit to level and then progress up to 2500/3000 grit. I'll be using Universal or Euro in a few weeks and was curious how many coats can be applied at one time (with proper flash between coats). How many coats would be recommended if I wanted to start with 600grit? Is this approach even advisable?
I could go the route of applying 3-4 coats, sand with 600g, and then apply 3-4 more coats but due to time constraints, I'm worried that I may only have time for one round of spraying clear.

5coats and started with 800- I didn’t go through - never tried 600 without a flow coat

I start with 600 or 400, then convert with a 1000 or 1200, and then 1500

But I spray four wet coats of universal, sometimes more coats.
Never tried with 5000 clear.
