Trying to be the best me, I can be
I'm envious that you get to work on stuff like that Brad.
A lot of hard work, location of my shop, little bit of luck, and knowing a guy. Working my ass off was the biggest factor in getting a shot. Most of the time it's great but can be demanding.I'm envious that you get to work on stuff like that Brad.
You really don't want to wax it for at least 6 months. Those solvents have to escape.Pics of fixed “dry spray” , just cut and buffed on the roof and hood was just with buffing and a coat of wax.
That moisture is just from overnight dew , beads nicely with just a polish!
Came out pretty decent , not as pretty as a Lambo though
That's the best practice but I think Barry says caranuba is acceptable. If anything, use a detailers spray. You really don't want to wax it for at least 6 months. Those solvents have to escape.
No. Just fresh paint. It needs a six month minimum wait before you can wax. You only want to use a high quality carnuba type wax. You never want to use a polymer type wax on any refinish paint. You guys aren’t saying don’t wax freshly buffed older paint are you ?
