UV clear “dry spray”

Pics of fixed “dry spray” , just cut and buffed on the roof and hood was just with buffing and a coat of wax.

That moisture is just from overnight dew , beads nicely with just a polish!

Came out pretty decent , not as pretty as a Lambo though

You really don't want to wax it for at least 6 months. Those solvents have to escape.

Thanks for the tips !

I only waxed the hood which just got the buffing with compound - MeGuires 105, 205 & 3m Prefecta .

The roof got the respray , I actually thought about whether or not it’s a good idea to wax fresh paint/clear coat and decided against doing the roof, just being cautious I guess. I did however use Carnuba on the hood , it’s the only wax I have.

The poor trucks been neglected for so long , it always amazes me how good something can look with a little bit of polishing effort.

Even with carnuba you have to wait six months.
@EDP I really hope you didn't wax fresh paint. If you did you need to strip it off and wait the appropriate time. Dawn will strip it off of there. Or use a wax and grease remover.

Chris, No - the wax only went on the hood, all I did there was buff it up a bit. Roof was painted, cut and buffed- no wax on it.

I must of remembered reading “don’t wax fresh paint” somewhere hence hood only.

You guys aren’t saying don’t wax freshly buffed older paint are you ?
