UV Clear

I based and cleared my project this past weekend and I have to say I can not believe how good the UV clear laid down! Almost completely flat. I've used UV clear before with a SATA 3000 and had a lot of orange peel. This time I used a Tekna Pro lite. I tried the TE10 cap and 1.3 tip, 28 PSI, 4 turns out and 90% fan. I also used 2 to 3 oz of retarder per quart of clear this time. By far the best I have ever been able to get the clear to lay down. I'm extremely happy with all the SPI products.

For whatever reason I get better results with my Iwata than I do with my SATA with Universal. And the opposite with Euro 2020. We are all different, in many ways artist and none of us see or spray exactly alike. Dial in what works for you and keep at it.

Well my garage is a mess and I dont have anything up close but here ya go

For the first time, by some recomendations of people on this site I used Motobase sold by Chad Sperry in Michigan. I will say I was not disapponted with it and actually really impressed. Stephanie ( the women I was emailing and calling at Chads paint supply) was very nice and knowledgable, the prices are GREAT, and It covered really good. I was a little confused when it showed up in a SPI box though.
