very slight orange peel in base

Hey all, I sprayed spi black base on my front fenders today. i have very very slight orange peel ( almost unnoticeable) , I tried to take a picture of it but does not come out in the pic. should i wet sand with 1000 or 1200 grit or will it not show once I clear coat with universl?

Should be fine, solid base is pretty forgiving imho.

If you sand it you have to spray another coat of base before clear.

Hopefully one of the pros will weigh in.

Thats probably where you are seeing the slight peel then. Eitherway, its nothing to worry about.

Clear it. Your clear will fill it anyways and that is going to be leveled when you cut.
