We have been getting a lot of calls if we are staying open and can you ship.

What is weird, and I can't explain what is we have been busy just short of record weeks, not what I was figuring would happen.

Overall we are in good shape with about two mil of unused products to make an inventory and close to a million made on hand for shipping.

What can stop us from shipping?
Well, Friday, all nonessential businesses will be ordered to close for two weeks. We will be open now. My only concern is what will that do to the shipping companies we use, will they skip this town or cut back to a couple of days?
We can only worry about what we can control, so we continue to work.
I will keep you updated.

yeah everyone is stuck home with nothing to do other than work on their cars lol. all non essential businesses here have been shut down since sat night. i can tell you here, i have seen no difference in shipping. ups and fedex is all the same. i think they are actually busier because everyone is ordering instead of going out. service jobs here are still ok to work. its just non essential retail and some others. so the motorocycle dealer down the street for instance can have their servce guys working in the back but the sales and parts counter must be closed. most manufacturing businesses can stay open as well as long as you dont have more than like 6 or 10 people working together in a small area. you basically need to run a skeleton crew. also, if you are ordered to close and you do business though shipping then your shipping dept or online sales, etc can stay open. this way your not 100% out of business. nj may be different than Georgia but im betting youll be ok to still operate and ship product.

Here in Arizona, hardware stores, tire shops, grocery stores and GUN stores are all essential businesses. Yep its true!

The ridiculous procedures of some stores became obvious this morning. Wife and I went to Costco early for the over 60 crowd and there was a line of over 100 people waiting to get in. The store would only allow 20 people at a time inside, get this, "to protect them from risk of exposure." So are we safer in a line of 100 or spread out in a massive shopping store?
We didn't even get out of the car. After seeing the line, I rolled down the window and asked lady leaving the store what was going on and she explained it to us.

Hoping this whole mess passes soon, as a lot of good folks are out of work because of a flu virus with a less than 1% mortality rate.

I am glad you guys are doing well! This whole thing is pretty devastating to a lot of small-med business and their employees. Heck I work for a global mining and oil and gas company and it's beating the hell out of us especially the O&G part.

My wife says how I no longer have an excuse not to work on the 'honey do' list now that I am home more often.

Haha I hear ya, to be honest I find myself working MORE. I am up earlier, tend to work through lunch, and often stay on later. Not today though, it's gorgeous outside and I am going to enjoy the fresh air and sun!

The business here closed are gathering type stores; spi does not have a sign-out or do walk-in business.
So we're pretty safe and harmless.
Ive tried to find it looking on google earth looking at Blairsville but guess I need a address to be sure.

I try to be positive as much as I can in these certain or should I say uncertain times. Not gonna lie, been enjoying the hell out of the decreased traffic here in Jacksonville, fl. I just made a new record time getting near home 30 plus miles from another county in rush hour in about 22 minutes with sprinter van bumping 82 mph governed speed in usually crawling areas.
Nobody out there is an experienced expert on what's going on right now, but I agree with common sense practices at least being helpful and having to broaden what that could include now.

I don't think shipping companies would be too likely to skip an area worth their while to service.

gonna be ordering some epoxy to tackle some rust on my daily driver next week. i would have the time but im figuring out this home schooling thing still- helpin my niece while shes work at home and her 6yo is home, too.

I’m a nurse at the VA in a smaller town..... we’re all prepared for craziness but nothing seems to be overwhelming us yet - they keep talking about a “spike” so we’re still waiting .... it’s changing every day though— noticed waaaay less traffic though on the streets . Dog food is a pain in the butt to get delivered- glad to see SPI is still on time!

Barry my local autobody supply store is unique in that in our small town it is a dedicated autobody only supply store and competes with NAPA, Carquest etc... I worry all the time that they may not always be there. I went by yesterday to get some things and the owner said it was a record week for them and the best week they've ever had. He was smiling :) Not at all what I was expecting.

Like you guys know, I field a lot of tech calls every day, and yesterday alone, I had seven jobbers call from around North America and counting Canada.
The first question was are we going to continue to ship, then
It went to business, and six said almost or at a record pace, and one reported last week a record, and this week slow, I assured him that's pretty normal overall.
