Its time to upgrade my tool cabinet.

What do you prefer for stripping paint with an 80 grit disc?

A grinder,
A DA -what orbit dia?,
An orbital - what orbit dia?,
A jitterbug ?
Hand sanding?
Or?

Brand , specs, air consumption, etc are appreciated

I prefer a air sander made by National Detroit called a "grinder"
It's like a DA only it's not "Dual Action" it spins only, which
makes stripping much faster. It does use air like a DA,
about 15 cfm @ 90 psi.
But it does a really nice and fast job of stripping.

well i use a 1 1/4 hose with a 3/8 nozzle to strip paint......:D

If you weren't so far away I would try and sweet talk you into training me on using your setup

Blasting is great but if i am sanding i have a psa disc pad that goes on my buffer. With that i put on 36grit 8" discs and strip away.
