Where to get 1969 chevelle parts?

Road gear Deere

Just curious on opinions who sells the best parts and is easy to deal with for a 69 chevelle. Looking for quarters, wheel house, trunk floor, ect. Also the fenders aren't to bad just rust in the lower rear section repair or replace with repro? Opinions please.

Check out CarsInc.com They specialize in Chevy parts, We got most of the parts for the 57 from them and they are really nice.

Yes, we were very happy with the quality of CarsInc,

I have also been happy with AMD, we are also doing a 70 Chevelle and we purchased quarters from AMD and they were Incredible, nice and straight and the fit was really good.

I'm not sure if it's a regional thing or not but it seems goodmark has been going downhill over the last few years.

I agree about Goodmark's quality being substandard. The quarter skins I put on my Coronet R/T were different one from another. Side marker lights in different locations and the passenger side body line which should have centered on the side marker light was 3/8" of an inch low. Then the floor pans I purchased for the 65 Buick Special Convertible were even worse. The center seam fit correctly from the rear about 1/2 way toward the front and from there the driver's side trailed off to over an 1 1/2" of gap at the firewall. Had to make and weld in a patch. However the AMD center floor brace I bought for the Buick fit perfectly with no trimming or tweaking needed at all. Plus the overall quality of the AMD product was obviously better.

AMD parts are made of a thicker guage steel from what I've seen, I'd patch the original fenders if it was mine-if the rust isn't too bad.

I have ordered AMD and Goodmark for my 69 Chevelle. To be perfectly honest, I haven't had any issues with Goodmark so far. Everyone thinks AMD is better and that may or may not be true. I've installed left and right fenders, left and right door shells, hood, trunk deck lid, and so far everything looks great. Clean crisp lines, and no fitment issues. Haven't tried the quarters, wheelhouses, and trunk pan yet. AMD, Dynacorn, Goodmark, Golden Star, Sherman all come from Taiwan anyway. There may be an AMD part that fits better than a Goodmark part, and vice versa. I am only speaking on my experience. I am not a professional. Just my 2 cents!

the problem with the parts is QC . then you have vendors who buy and sell 2nd's . i've had good and bad from all of them . lot better today than it was in the 80's .
