The conversion varnish I use says it's also for floors.
If wood movement was an issue, cabinet makers would not be using it.
That's what CV is made for, wood.
Most have have switched from lacquer coatings and now use CV exclusively.
Same as furniture manufactures.
The main reason it's not used on existing floors is that it specifies it has to be sprayed
and it's very toxic just like auto clear coat.
