I pull the air cap, nozzle and fluid tip. Every time. Lots of paint behind the nozzle.Did you guys ever clean your guns between jobs by loosening the air cap and covering the hole? It would bubble just like this. I hadn't put 2+2 together.

I personally use carb cleaner on the gun.
Some may disagree with that and only use reducer.
But carb cleaner cuts paint like no ones business and is designed to not harm o-rings and such.
Makes it easy. Break it down, few shots of carb cleaner and its done.
