Does anyone know anything about the '66 Fury 2? The one I'm looking at has the 383 4bbl.

When my wife and I were dating I bought her that car from a woman she worked with.
Well made and the 383 only had a 2bbl but ran like a scared cat. One of the best cars we ever had. That was in 1970 i do believe.

What is the difference s in the 2 from the 1&3?
Was yours silver with blue interior? 4 door.
He's asking 2k. That includes mice. Hagerty shows a #4 as $5200

A #1 it is not and #4 is in need of total retro, so most likely a #3 if just normal shape.
Wife's was a 4 door and silver with blue interior.

sorry I didn't clarify that very well. I was wondering what the differences between the Fury one in the fury 3.
I think the fury 2 were a special edition.

i had a gtx . bad ass car . based on the satlelite . was a 440 4speed car. the fury was a little bit larger i think .

I found a site called allpar.com. apparently it's a special spring edition. Might have a bit more value.

Years ago I had a neighbor that had a 66 Fury II, it was dark green with a white top with a 383 also. He really liked it. My folks had a 68 Fury III but only had a 318. I think 68 was the first year for the newer larger body style.
It was my understanding that the I, II and III were just trim levels.
I'll always remember the trip that my family of four took in the 68 Fury in 1973. We drove from Miami to Alaska and back. 11,000 miles in six weeks!. We had one of those big storage boxes on the roof and camped most of the way. The car was flawless, never a mechanical issue during the whole trip.

I,II and III were trim levels for the Fury.
Think Biscayne,Belair,Impala.
Fury I was usually fleet/Taxi cars.
66 was the last year of that body style , before the larger body in 67.
383 is a bullet proof engine in my opinion

Well, I got to look at it in better light. Besides the completely wasted interior, enlarged drain holes in the trunk, the stage 3 cancer and the 383 that is now a 360, the car is perfect. I said I would take 3k to take it off his hands.

Had a friend growing up with a newport, always thought it was kinda cool, kinda thought it might be cool to find a newport or fury, stuff a big ass 440 or hemi in one. Big boat sleeper type.
