I wouldn't, but 2 unreduced coats of epoxy, wet sanded and painted within 72 hours is acceptable in my shop as equivalent to a sealer due to the epoxy's long open recoat window. There are some forum members who think waiting that long will compromise adhesion, but I have not found this to be the case. If you wish to do a wet-on-wet process with the epoxy, it would be best to do it over a finer scratch and only 1 coat of epoxy, imo. 2 coats in too rapid of succession can really cause problems.
If this is a cheap job and a light color, fire away. You might get away with it.
